Three doves are rendered in warm, earthy tones against a dramatic black ground, their forms simplified into organic, flowing shapes that suggest both weight and gentleness. The artist employs confident, gestural brushwork with touches of impasto, creating a tactile quality that emphasizes the birds’ plumage and corporeal presence. Small accents of chartreuse and a hint of blue in the upper corner provide subtle chromatic relief, balancing the composition’s contemplative severity.
