About Sujit Karmakar
Sujit Karmakar is a renowned painter based in Kolkata, born on February 6, 1982. He obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) degree from the College of Visual Art under Khairagarh University in 2005. His passion for painting is evident in his works, which predominantly feature Pop Art - a style known for its vibrant colors and layers.
Karmakar views life as a continuous cycle, much like a wheel that is always turning, with its ups and downs. This belief strongly influences his paintings, which often depict the liveliness of city life and the constant changes happening around us. He believes that, no matter what happens, there is always a chance to start fresh, just like the turning of a wheel.
