Emotional Wellbeing Through Art

By Kavya Atray

Emotional Wellbeing Through Art, organized by AIM Gallery in Chandigarh, is a gentle, interactive arts-based therapy session focused on emotional balance and self-connection. Led by expressive arts practitioner Kavya Atray, the session invites you to slow down, tune in, and explore your inner world through guided creative activities.

This is not about making “perfect” art. It’s about giving your emotions a safe space to show up. Through simple, calming art exercises, you’ll be encouraged to release emotional blocks, reflect on your feelings, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. No prior art experience is needed, just an open mind and curiosity about your own emotions. You’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected.

About the Facilitator

Kavya Atray is an expressive arts and emotional well-being facilitator who uses art as a tool for healing and self-discovery. Her work blends creativity with mindfulness, helping people explore feelings that are often hard to put into words. Through her guided sessions, Kavya creates a safe and welcoming space where participants can pause, express, and gently reconnect with their inner selves through color, form, and reflection.

Printmaking Workshop

As part of our exhibition “Art through Print and Paint”, we hosted a hands-on Printmaking Workshop by talented Tricity artists Rahul Dhiman and Rashmita Kanojia.

International Museum Day 2025

The exhibition has been extended until 21st May to celebrate International Museum Day 2025.

AIM Gallery invites you to celebrate International Museum Day 2025 in collaboration with the Government Museum and Art Gallery, Chandigarh, as part of our exhibition “Art through Print and Paint”.

This year, International Museum Day (IMD), led by the International Council of Museums (ICOM), will explore “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities”. This theme will focus on how museums can adapt and contribute to a world undergoing significant social, technological, and environmental changes.

Join us in exploring how art can respond to and reflect our changing times.
