Nilotpal Dhwaj Sinha is an Indian painter born in 1984 in Dharamnagar. He completed his higher education at Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in painting. Today, he operates out of Shillong, India, where he continues to live and create.
Sinha's creative approach is highly individualized and rooted in human connection. His paintings frequently explore imaginative and emotionally charged portraits of people who share close relationships with him.
Throughout his career, Sinha has displayed his artwork in numerous prominent group events. His exhibition history features the Baroda March organized by Rukshaan Art in 2021 and 2022. He also showed his pieces at New Delhi's Art and Aesthetic Gallery during the 2017 "Little Infinity" exhibition and a joint presentation called "Subjective Idioms" in 2015. Earlier in 2011, his art was featured in Mumbai's Jehangir Art Gallery under the show "Tentacles".
