About Kandi Narsimlu

Kandi Narsimlu is an artist from Kaslabad, Siddipet, Telangana, who beautifully captures the charm of village life in his art. He holds an MFA in Painting from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad. His artwork focuses on the everyday life, culture, and traditions of rural Telangana, showcasing villagers’ clothing, accessories, and behavior in great detail.

Kandi’s collection, “Rural Whispers,” uses vibrant colors and rich textures to bring the scenes of village life to life. His paintings feature women in colorful sarees with subtle prints and flowers in their hair, while men are often shown wearing lungis, carrying black umbrellas, or enjoying paan. Details like steel tiffin boxes, cotton bags, and money pouches tucked into sarees give his work authenticity. His art also reflects the changes in rural life due to modern influences while preserving its traditional roots.
