Bhagyanath Chandroth is a prominent contemporary artist from Kerala, born in 1968 in Tellicherry. He developed his creative foundation at the College of Fine Arts in Trivandrum before pursuing advanced studies at the Sarojini Naidu School in Hyderabad, where he earned his Master’s degree in 2006. His technical excellence and unique vision were officially recognized in 2002 when he received the Kerala State Lalit Kala Akademi Award.
Bhagyanath is widely respected for his ability to blend traditional painting techniques with deeply philosophical themes. His work often explores the complexities of human nature, identity, and the invisible connections between the physical and spiritual worlds. Through a masterful use of lines and layered compositions, he creates visual narratives that feel both ancient and modern.
