This ingenious trompe-l’oeil composition transforms a vintage automobile tire into a circular portal, revealing a vibrant street scene complete with a blue trolley, pedestrians, and urban architecture. The concentric rings of the tire—rendered in bold oranges and blacks with the BFGoodrich Radial T/A branding intact—create a mesmerizing tunnel effect that draws the viewer’s eye toward the bustling cityscape beyond. The work masterfully plays with scale, depth, and illusion, challenging perceptions of surface and space while celebrating both automotive Americana and urban life.
