Hanuman Demon

Size: 18 X 24 inches
Medium: Serigraph

This bold serigraph captures the essence of mid-century Indian modernism through its dynamic interplay of contorted yellow figures against a dramatic red and black ground. The composition conveys a sense of struggle and movement, with gestural line work defining angular bodies in various states of repose and action. A clothed figure observing from the right introduces narrative tension, while the restricted palette of ochre, crimson, and deep black creates powerful visual drama.
