Amitabh Bachchan

Size: 48 X 72 inches
Medium: Acrylic on canvas

A luminous silhouette emerges against a vibrant pink sunburst backdrop, the figure’s form filled with a starry cosmos and adorned with botanical blue garments blooming with roses and tropical flora. Radiating lines converge at the figure’s solar halo, while symbolic elements—the hand of creation, Cupid’s arrow, architectural fragments, and hummingbirds—orbit the composition in a celebration of love, identity, and transcendence. The artist’s signature appears in the lower left, confirming this as a work by contemporary artist Sarabjit Mandehar, whose surrealist vocabulary merges South Asian iconography with cosmic and romantic symbolism.
