Manas Bholla

About

Manas Bholla is an Indian modern contemporary artist and designer whose practice spans ceramics, terracotta, and fired materials. Known for his tactile visual language and ecological storytelling, his work resonates strongly within the landscape of contemporary artists exploring the intersection of traditional craft and environmental narrative.

Bholla completed his formal education in Fired Material Design from the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur, before advancing his practice through an MA in Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art (RCA), London. He also expanded his technical boundaries working at T-Works Hyderabad, India’s largest prototyping center. This diverse material background informs his distinctive approach, combining technical precision with raw, hand-sculpted depth.
