While her earlier projects explored the nuances of adolescence, her recent work turns its gaze toward the "middle years," focusing on the subtle fluctuations and implied desires that define a woman's life. A significant turning point in her creative journey was her fascination with the anatomical origin of the biblical Eve, specifically the narrative of being created from a rib. This sparked a metaphysical exploration of the human body, where the rib cage serves as a central motif. By deconstructing and examining human anatomy, Alias embarks on a journey of self-discovery, using the body as a map to understand the soul.
